Welcome to Journey!
Westwood Baptist Church
Grades: 9th – 12th
Sunday 5:00-6:00 PM
The AWANA High school program is called Journey. It is an energetic journey through God’s Word, with core Bible studies and electives full of enhanced content, life application, and Scripture memory. The atmosphere provides for in-depth, focused discipleship in a challenging and thought-provoking environment, for students grades 9 – 12 who are interested in going deeper in scripture.

The best part about Journey is its flexibility. Westwood Baptist Church is able to provide our High School students with the study materials and supervision to successfully complete the program along with the opportunity to live out their potential as “Student Leaders” throughout the AWANA clubs. Those students participating in Journey meet in E-5 each Sunday evening from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. After this lesson time our students will then move to participate in the High School Youth Group activities which start at 6:30 in the Student Center next door.

For those interested in pursuing their Citation Award, Journey provides incentives for achievement that can lead to scholarships at a number of top Christian colleges around the country. (Check out the scholarship page at www.awana.org/scholarships )
