Sparks is a club geared for a Kindergarten - 2nd grade child. Sparks is an exciting program that features scripture memorization, lesson time, game time and many exciting activities. Westwood Baptist Church Sparks club meets each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Children’s Center for opening ceremony and special announcements. If your child completes three years in Sparks, they will work through three different handbooks that teach them about God, Jesus, and the Bible. Nightly awards are given out their work is completed. At the end of the year, there is an Award Ceremony in the sanctuary for book completion awards. During game time, the entire club is able to participate and cheer for their team in a friendly, non-competitive environment.

Finally, during Green Meadow time, the kids join together to praise God and hear a special age-appropriate Gospel message. Your child will take pride in wearing their hard earned awards on their Sparky vest.

Sparks meet from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. during the club year. Check-in begins at 6:15 p.m. with all the Sparks participating in an Opening Ceremony in the Children’s Center.

At the end of the night pick up the Kindergartners in the Children’s Center and the 1st & 2nd Graders in the Family Center.
