Missions Events Coming Up

Our mission trips to Asia and Mexico in the summer of 2013 were incredibly successful. God has used them to infuse a love for missions in our students and a desire to participate in future missions opportunities. We are in the process of prayerfully planning and preparing for 3 mission trips within the next year. They are as follows.
Trip #1, July 19th-26th 2014- A local trip, within 300 miles sending out 30-40 students for a week. Youthmark, a student missions equipping ministry will be helping us train and establish partnerships with churches and ministries in urban and rural settings. Teams of 12-15 students and leaders will focus on service and peer to peer evangelism.
Application

Trip #2, April 4-11 (Spring Break) 2015-  This is a combined student and parent trip with Caravan Ministries and we will be headed to Tijuana, Mexico. This trip will target 40-50 students and 20-30 parents and family members for the purpose of calling the next generation of Global Workers from Westwood. One of the greatest obstacles students face in answering the call to global work is from parents. Inviting parents to participate on a trip with Caravan will help them to learn alongside their children Jesus' command role to make disciples of all nations. Application
Trip #3, Summer of 2015- Similar to our Asia trip in 2013, we will be taking 8-12 students who are considering Global work as their career. The goal will be to expose them to Frontier Missions by partnering with Westwood workers in Israel, Africa, Philippines or Asia for two weeks.
Applications for Trips #1 and #2 are currently located in the Student Center.
