Creating Disciplines  Building Relationships
We're the young adults group (18-29) at Westwood Baptist Church. Sunday mornings at 9:00am we meet in the Chapel to study the Bible and be transformed by it. Our goal is to create disciplines who enthusiastically seek after God and actively build relationships with the people in our lives so we can be better ambassadors for Christ.

Events & Activities
We try to schedule 3-4 group events every month so that we can grow together as a community to support, encourage, challenge, and edify one another. Game nights and movie nights are staples of our schedule on Friday nights, lunch and bowling are common Sunday activities, and concerts and other big events whenever there is interest. If you'd like to suggest an event, or possibly host one yourself, please let one of us know.

Our Vision
Through the power of the Holy Spirit we are striving to create a community of disciples who are growing and worshipping together in Christ through fellowship, prayer, and the study of God's Word. We will accomplish this by living a life of genuine service, developing an effective prayer life, and interacting with the Word of God on a daily basis.

Ephesians 6:13-18
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
