[Bible study has been put on hold]

Mike and Danita Bay graciously open their home to us every Monday night at 7pm. We've been studying the rise and fall of the Jewish kings (Saul, David, Solomon, etc) since last November and it's been a wonderful experience. So far we've seen a civil war, adultery, murder, incest, genocide, and tons of other horrible things. We've learned a lot about the inherent depravity of the human condition and it's only given us a greater appreciation for God's limitless mercy, grace, and forgiveness.

And if you've ever heard us refer to something called homiletics before (but you weren't quite sure what it meant/was), here's a diagram that should explain it. Homiletics is just a simple way to summarize a passage of scripture in a way that's easy to understand. It doesn't take long and it's actually quite fun.
