Stategic Plan

Planning in a dynamic organization such as a church is an evolving, continuing process. Planning for Westwood Baptist Church involves the interweaving components of all ministries including the functions of teaching and preaching, discipleship, worship, prayer, personnel, evaluation, global outreach, evangelism, facilities and operations.

Because change is never ending, planning must be conceived as an ongoing process rather than an end or product. Planning clearly is a journey, not a destination. The ultimate planning goal at Westwood is to produce fully developing disciples in the church.

The Vision of Westwood focuses on working together under the direction of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Scripture to produce fully developing disciples and a growing congregation that are passionately committed to loving God and loving people. This Strategic Plan document has been produced to provide shape and visibility to those planning strategies currently utilized and incorporate new targets to enable the church to more fully meet goals that will turn vision into reality
